"Non-residents pay disproportionately high tariffs" to get to Sardinia "because the free market does not find a point of equilibrium" and the concept of aerial territorial continuity must be reformed in order to "guarantee equal opportunities for development".

This was stated by the president of the Region Christian Solinas in his speech at the 25th Acri congress (Association of Foundations and Savings Banks Spa) in Cagliari. "The tariff", he added, "must be the same for everyone" as it happens "for a plane ticket or a motorway" to Milan but "unfortunately there is still a lot of resistance, even and above all in Europe".

Solinas recalled how "Sardinia is objectively different from the Italian Peninsula but this is not a negative value, rather it represents the country's greatest wealth".

At the congress, entitled "Along the roads of equality", the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella also wanted to send a message at the beginning: "The fight against inequalities must be the backbone of public policies. And, together, as a task of the Republic , responsibility of the whole society ". The Head of State greeted "with particular intensity, therefore, the decision to place the theme of inequalities that were particularly accentuated during the pandemic at the center of the congress".

Then he expressed "appreciation for the commitment deployed in recent years" by foundations of banking origin "in addressing the numerous critical issues that have arisen, at a territorial, social, generational, international crisis level, as in the case of migration and now the consequences of the unacceptable aggression on Ukraine by the Russian Federation ".

Vittorio Colao, Minister of Technological Innovation, focused on the third sector and on the push towards digital skills of the NRP. euros which, he added, "are not yet sufficient to achieve the ambitious objectives set in the NRP".
