Accident on the 130 in Elmas: five women injured, three are nuns

Serious accident around 6.30 pm on State Road 130, on the road towards Iglesias, at the intersection with Provincial Road 8, in the Elmas area.

According to initial information, two cars were involved in the collision: a Panda in which three nuns were traveling and an Opel with two other women on board.

All were injured, but the ones who suffered the worst consequences were the nuns. According to an initial reconstruction, one of the two vehicles entered the state road when the other was traveling from Cagliari towards Elmas and was unable to avoid the impact.

Five ambulances and firefighters attended the scene, while the local police of Elmas carried out the investigations.

The repercussions on traffic were very serious, with the flow of vehicles paralyzed until the Anas workers intervened to clear the road.
