Accident in the industrial area of Macomer, three seriously injured hospitalized at San Francesco

A serious traffic accident occurred this morning, around 10:30, on the road from Macomer to the Tossilo industrial area . Three people were seriously injured and are currently hospitalized with critical conditions at the San Francesco Hospital in Nuoro .
The victims are a man born in 1952 and his sister, residents of Borore, and another man originally from Santu Lussurgiu. Their conditions are reportedly serious but not life-threatening .
The Macomer Fire Brigade team responded to the scene, working extensively with emergency personnel to extricate the injured who were trapped in the wreckage following the violent impact . The firefighters also secured the area.
Law enforcement officers were also present to conduct surveys and manage traffic, while three 118 ambulances transported the injured to the Nuoro hospital. An investigation is underway to reconstruct the exact circumstances of the accident.
