Fatal accident on the Anglona state road 200, at kilometer 8, in the territory of Sennori, in the Sassari area.
The 48-year-old cyclist, Adriano Testone, lost his life after a collision with a car.
The tragedy occurred immediately after the junction for Sorso and the dynamics are being examined by the Sassari traffic police, which intervened on the spot together with 118, firefighters and Anas personnel after the alarm.
According to an initial reconstruction, the cyclist was traveling the road towards Sennori, where he lived, when he collided head-on with a car driven by a woman who was proceeding in the opposite direction. The man was thrown from his bicycle and thrown off the road. Help was useless.
The road was closed to traffic, which was diverted to the local road network.
