There is a Sardinia that deserves to be told, that - often forgotten - of the Giudicati and their "queens", who characterized the Sardinian territory and its political situation between the 9th and 15th centuries.

To do this, the Humanitarian Society of Carbonia, together with the Terras and U-Boot Lab associations, has thought of a residency in Sulcis that hosts a collective of artists and researchers : through a selection call, active from today, the ambitious Giudicesse 2030 project.

At the center of the research will be the role of women in Sardinia: the theme will be explored by the collective within the artistic residency, which will welcome them between 4 and 16 December , in the name of accessibility and inclusion. The idea is part of a plan to enhance the Sulcis Iglesiente area and is driven by a new association movement.

Artists grouped in a collective that operates in the field of artistic and scientific research, with a minimum number of two people, can submit their candidacy: the expected compensation is 6 thousand euros. The work created inside the residence will be presented to the community during a public event, and must be designed and created so that it can be subsequently exhibited.
