Promoting the area from a tourist point of view is one of the objectives of the Municipality of Sorso which wants to collect a series of proposals for the creation of a mural of about 150 square meters on a wall suitably identified by the Administration.

The theme of the work will be "Reference to the territory" and its construction must be carried out with materials that guarantee the effectiveness of the work carried out for a minimum time of 10 years.

The interested parties will have to provide, for the entire time necessary for the realization, to maintain the safety conditions and, where necessary, to restore the safety conditions should they fail. The proposed work can be declined in various ways and techniques, according to the various sensibilities and artistic abilities of the proposing subject, and be performed no later than 15 days from the start of the works.

The proposals and the relative documentation must be addressed to the Manager of Sector 1, Dr. Nicolina Cattari, must be drawn up exclusively on a fillable form, saved in pdf and digitally signed (do not use other formats, e.g. word, excel, jpg) and sent, via Pec, at the address protocol@pec.comune.sorso.ss.it with the following obligatory subject: "Proposed construction of a work to promote tourism in the Sorso area", by 12 noon on 26 June. Each artist may present a maximum of two proposals, to be evaluated on the basis of the criteria identified in the announcement.

Once the three best proposals have been identified, a Contest will be launched on the Facebook page of the Municipality of Sorso, through which citizens will be given the opportunity to express themselves on their favorite work.

From 12 on 27 June to the same time on 29 June it will be possible to vote for your favorite work, contributing to the determination of the final choice for the candidate works. If only one valid application is received, the Administration will not proceed with the selection on the Institution's social channel.
