A life jacket gave hope for the discovery of Davide Calvia, the 38-year-old diver from Sassari who has been missing since last Wednesday . No way, it was just a false alarm , not the first of these days in the sea of Stintino.

A report to the Coast Guard moved the search machine to the stretch of sea between Isola Piana and Asinara, where divers, patrol boats and a helicopter went into action. But only one life jacket was found which may have been lost from any vessel, there is no evidence it could be linked to last week's shipwreck .

So still no trace of Calvia's body. The diver disappeared on the evening of Wednesday 12 April in the stretch of sea between Stintino and Porto Torres, when the boat sank during a sport fishing trip he was doing with his cousin Giovannino Pinna.

Pinna was found 24 hours later , semiconscious, on a beach in Marritza, Marina di Sorso: he is still hospitalized at the Santissima Annunziata in Sassari but is out of danger.

There are still many obscure points of the tragedy, on which the Public Prosecutor's Office of Sassari has opened a file, entrusting the investigations to the Harbor Master's Office and the Carabinieri of the Porto Torres Company and the Provincial Command of Sassari.
