A body was found on Sunday afternoon during a big game hunt in the Supramonte .

The Tortolì firefighters and the agents of the Tortolì police station directed by Fabrizio Figliola, coordinated by the Lanusei public prosecutor's office, intervened on the spot to recover the body.

A DNA test will now be performed to name the human remains. But all the elements suggest that the body found belongs to Alessandro Zaniboni.

The surveyor, who had been hired by Sarda Inspezioni on behalf of Aibel, who commissioned a work order at the Intermare di Arbatax, arrived in Ogliastra in early July and rented an apartment in Lotzorai.

All traces of the professional went missing on July 25 a year ago . It could have disappeared on the path between Bidonie and Codula di Luna which crosses one of the most complex areas of the Supramonte and where the telephone line is completely absent. The Friulian surveyor had landed in the Supramonte with his Kia Sportage which he had left parked near Bidonie.

The technician's family was immediately alerted and is anxiously awaiting.
