11-Year-Old Boy Crushed by Gate: Tragedy Nearly Accidented in Esterzili

Moments of fear yesterday afternoon for an 11-year-old boy, involved in an accident at the Esterzili sports field, in the Taccu area: around 6:30 pm the access gate to the facility suddenly fell, hitting the little boy while he was outside.
The dynamics of the accident are still unclear, but according to initial reconstructions, the child was participating in workshops organized by some mothers, including his, as part of the Is Animeddas initiative scheduled for next November 1st.
After deciding to go out and play alone, he approached the gate. Despite repeated warnings from some passers-by to be careful, the little boy began to forcefully handle it, attracted by curiosity.
Suddenly, the gate came off the rails and fell on him. Those present, alarmed, immediately alerted the emergency services. An ambulance from 118, coming from Sadali, intervened promptly, transporting the child to Brotzu in Cagliari.
According to what we learn, the little boy's conditions are currently stable. The CT scan verdict speaks of a fracture of the coccyx: the assigned prognosis days are thirty.
