From Brescia, pain crosses half of Italy and arrives in Cagliari.

Alessandro Anedda, a 62-year-old pizza chef originally from the Sardinian capital, was killed in a tragic road accident that took place yesterday afternoon in Viale Europa, in Villa di Salò.

The man was aboard his Yamaha scooter when he crashed an Opel Karl due to causes under investigation, with two women aged 25 and 53 on board who were unharmed.

Anedda fell violently to the ground and died on the spot . The Carabinieri of Salò operated for the reliefs.

The 62-year-old had lived in the Brescia area for years and managed the Vesuvio di Gavardo pizzeria together with his wife Monica. He also leaves behind two children.

Dozens of condolence messages on the pizzeria's Facebook page , under the post: "Closed for mourning".
