Train against signal, delays and cancellations at Milan station

Inconvenience and delays at the central station of Milan.

A Trenord train shunting, without passengers, passed a safety section around 3.10 pm causing damage to the power line and causing delays on the line, with delays of up to two hours and cancellation of trains.

According to company sources, it was the human error of a train driver . Trains on the Turin-Rome route do not arrive at the Centrale while those between Turin and Venice stop at Certosa and Lambrate.

"The RFI technicians are at work but circulation - the Italian railway network reports - will remain disturbed for the next few hours".
