Tragedy on the construction site: worker dies buried in a landslide

Another tragic accident at work. It occurred in Rodano, on the outskirts of Milan, where a worker died, buried by more than two meters of earth after a failure occurred in the excavation site for the laying of pipes.

The victim - Fabrizio Franzinelli - was 46 years old and resident in the province of Brescia.

On the spot, after the alarm, the firefighters, the helicopter rescue and the carabinieri of Pioltello intervened.

Unfortunately, however, the relief efforts were useless.

The body of the worker was recovered with an excavator, while the military began investigations to reconstruct the exact dynamics of the incident and any responsibilities.
