One hundred carabinieri of the provincial command of Bari went into action in the municipalities of Bari, Adelfia, Capurso, Casamassima, Cellamare, Mola di Bari, Sannicandro di Bari, Triggiano and Valenzano to implement the measures issued by the Gip of the Court of Bari, upon request. of the Public Prosecutor's Office.
19 people are under investigation, nine of whom are suspected of the most serious crimes. According to the prosecutor, they would have associated with each other in order to commit an indefinite number of crimes against property, such as truck robberies, aggravated thefts on ATMs of credit institutions and post offices, car thefts, home thefts, receiving stolen goods and other, making use of the use of weapons.
The other suspects, on the other hand, respond in various ways to individual episodes of robbery, theft and receiving stolen goods.
Eleven people ended up in prison, all the others were placed under house arrest.
