A tragic collision between a car and an ambulance leaves one dead and five injured.

One person was killed and five people were injured, one of whom is in serious condition, in an accident on provincial road 58, which runs from Manfredonia to San Giovanni Rotondo, in the Foggia area.
According to reports, two vehicles were involved in the accident, a Fiat 500 and an ambulance, which caught fire after the impact.
The driver of the car died instantly. A woman traveling with him is in serious condition.
The three paramedics aboard the emergency vehicle were also injured, as well as the person they were transporting to the hospital. Another vehicle was also reportedly involved in the crash.
The accident details are under investigation. Firefighters, Carabinieri, and paramedics were on scene.
