The man suspected of the double homicide of his partner and daughter was flown back to Ciampino from Greece in an Italian Air Force Falcon.Francis Kaufmann, the 46-year-old American suspect in the double homicide at Villa Pamphili in Rome, was extradited to Italy today.
The man was picked up in Greece and brought back to the capital on an Italian Air Force Falcon 900, which landed at Ciampino Airport shortly before noon.
Kaufmann had been arrested after fleeing across the border in an attempt to cover his tracks, following the discovery – in the Villa Pamphili park – of the lifeless bodies of his presumed daughter, 11-month-old Andromeda, and his Russian partner, 28-year-old Anastasia Trofimova.
According to reports, during the return trip to Italy, Kaufmann, an American citizen, allegedly went on a rampage, targeting the officers and complaining that he had been beaten and that he was ready "to report everyone."
