New terrible details emerge in the reconstruction of the Sassuolo massacre where two days ago Nabil Dahir, a 38-year-old Tunisian, stabbed to death the ex-partner Elisa Mulas (43-year-old of Sassari origin), their two children aged 2 and 5, and the mother-in-law Simonetta Fontana, 63, finally took his own life.

At first it was said that the tragedy had been discovered by Enrico, Elisa's brother, informed by the school attended by the woman's eldest daughter - from a previous relationship - when no one had turned up to pick her up at the exit. Now, however, we know that it was the 11-year-old girl who raised the alarm. After her lessons in the sixth-grade class, around 2 pm, she returned home in via Manin, where she moved with her mother and siblings, as she did every day. She rang but there was no answer, no one opened them. Certainly there was the grandfather, 97, suffering from senile dementia and bedridden, but also the brothers, the grandmother. On the other hand, there was no noise beyond the door. Then she called her maternal uncle and 112. When the policemen and Enrico arrived, they made her go away and entered the apartment finding the tortured bodies in front of their eyes.

The little girl has now been placed in a protected structure, the natural father lost parental authority by decision of the judges years ago.
