Trento: A regional train collides with a freight train, injuring two; traffic is suspended at the Brenner Pass.

Traffic was suspended this morning on the Brenner-Trento line , between Mezzocorona and Trento, due to a collision between several freight cars and a regional train.

The dynamics - warns RfI - are currently being investigated.

According to initial reports, during shunting operations, the freight cars located in Trento, in the Roncafort area, detached from the rest of the convoy, causing a collision with the regional train , which was stopped at the traffic lights, and causing only one carriage to leave the tracks.

Two people were slightly injured .
