The jack yields while changing the wheel, 39-year-old dies crushed

He wanted to help a friend replace a tire in his car but he got crushed under the car due to the failure of the jack.

The terrible accident took place in San Stino di Livenza, in the province of Venice.

From what was reconstructed, the 39-year-old of Moroccan nationality was under the vehicle with his torso and head when suddenly the jack used to lift the car crashed. The friend immediately raised the alarm and asked for help from rescuers. The fire brigade arrived on the spot and lifted the car but for the 39-year-old there was nothing to do.

The carabinieri investigate the matter.
