The Biella prosecutor's office closes the investigation into the Pozzolo case and confirms the accusations: on New Year's Eve in Rosazza it was the deputy of Fratelli d 'Italy.

According to the head of the Biella prosecutor's office, Teresa Angela Camelio, Emanuele Pozzolo is the only person responsible for the wounding of Luca Campana , 32 years old, and now risks being sent to trial on charges of negligent injury, illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition in a public place or open to the public, failure to keep weapons and dangerous ignitions or explosions. For the prosecutor's office «the findings carried out by the investigative unit of the Carabinieri of Biella on Pozzolo, the so-called stub, and in the premises of the Rosazza pro loco, and the subsequent technical investigations carried out, in cross-examination with the defence, by the Ris laboratory of Parma (stub, fingerprint and biological tests on the seized weapon) confirmed the initial hypothesis and excluded the possible involvement of third parties ".

Pozzolo again denies any accusation, recalling that he voluntarily underwent the examination to detect traces of gunpowder on his hands. «I continue to simply say one thing - he reiterates - as I said from the first moment in which I made spontaneous declarations, which was not a mandatory act, and from the moment in which I underwent the stub exam, and I was not forced to do so, I'm just saying that that shot didn't come from my hand ."

And he returns to underline: «If I had been the one who shot that evening, which I denied from the first moment, why would I have subjected myself to the stub? Why - concludes Pozzolo - was it only done on me, when I declared that the shot did not come from my hand?".

Pozzolo had rejected the accusations even after the ballistics report, drawn up for the prosecutor's office by the expert Raffaela Sorropago, which confirmed the victim's testimony. From the reconstruction of the trajectory of the bullet that left the weapon, a 22 caliber North American Arms, and ended up in the thigh of the partner of the daughter of Pablito Morello, Delmastro's escort leader, it emerged that in the center of the table there were traces of a shot and at the edge a bullet mark.

The 32-year-old had declared to the investigators that he had seen Pozzolo place the gun on the table, near which he was with Morello, before the shot was fired, while the undersecretary was about three meters away. Previously the Parma RIS had found three genetic traces on the revolver: that of Pozzolo, Morello and the latter's son.

Results of the tests which, according to the prosecutor's office, confirm the hypothesis and which have «ascertained the full overlap of the narration of the people informed about the facts and, in particular, those of the injured person and did not find the alternative reconstruction originally provided by Pozzolo at the time of the facts - adds Camelio -. Lastly, it also emerged that the ammunition held by Pozzolo at the time of the shot could not be taken to a public place" as it "falls within the so-called "war" ammunition".
