Teacher for 12 years receives salary and pension

For 12 years, a teacher received a salary and a pension at the same time . Tax damage estimated by the Court of Auditors at 72 thousand euros , caused according to the Fiamme Gialle by the Giovanni Paolo I school in Belpasso (Catania).

The woman died in 2019, until the year before she received double emolument and now a recovery action has been filed against the heirs .

The professor retired in 2006, but the document that should have communicated to the competent bodies that she would no longer exercise the profession of teacher remained in the drawer.

The institute never sent it, and according to the judges, the task fell to the head teacher to ensure the transmission of the document: tried, the woman paid almost 11,000 euros, while the administrative head was ordered to compensate 18,000 .

Now the State Accounting Office has begun a recovery action against the heirs.
