Marco D'Annunzio, a 43-year-old former infectious disease medical director of the Crh-Mts in Milan, the center specializing in sexually transmitted diseases, was sent to trial with immediate rite after ending up under house arrest at the beginning of last June on charges of sexual assaults on six patients .

In recent weeks , the testimonies of the young people have been collected , with the formula of the probative incident, before the investigating magistrate.

From the reports, reported in the precautionary order of house arrest against the man - later confirmed in early July by the review - it emerged that the girls had been subjected by the doctor to physical and verbal violence which was later justified as part of his work.

D'Annunzio would have taken advantage of the situation and the weakness of the patients , who were in a situation of concern linked to their health condition, with underhanded and blackmailing behavior.

Now the doctor will have 15 days to decide whether to be judged with an abbreviated procedure or to go to trial before the fifth criminal, with the first hearing scheduled for January 12th.
