Seismic tremors in the Cuneo area: over 10 in an hour

Several earthquakes were recorded over an hour this morning in the province of Cuneo. The first, of magnitude 2.2, was located at 6.51 by the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology in Pontechianale, in the upper Varaita valley. The second, of magnitude 2.9, was then followed by a series of minor events. More than ten in all.

The epicenter was in the hamlet of Maddalena.

There is currently no damage.
