Rimini, tragedy of loneliness: found dead at home

It was the neighbors, who hadn't seen her for days, who alerted the firefighters: a very strong bad smell came from the apartment of an 83-year-old.

The men of the 115 intervened in Rivazzurra, a fraction of Rimini, late yesterday afternoon and forced the door. Inside the house was the body of the old woman, in an advanced state of decomposition.

The carabinieri carried out the usual findings.

According to the local press, the woman died several days ago, perhaps a few weeks.
