Raped in her shop: “I was hypnotized”. A 45-year-old in handcuffs

"I was hypnotized and raped".

It is the story of a thirty-year-old owner of a shop in Lower Padua: a man of foreign nationality, later identified as Adil Muhammad, a 45-year-old Pakistani, would have entered her shop on November 30th presenting himself as a representative of scarves.

As he showed her one of his scarves, this reconstruction, he would extract a thread and set it on fire, releasing fumes that stunned her. Then with particular vocal techniques and with his hands in his temples, he would have completely subjugated her, so much so as to make her lose control of the situation. At that point he kissed and harassed her for an hour. He only left when a customer came in, but she didn't notice anything.

The victim himself did not realize what happened for hours. She felt that something was wrong, yes, and even a friend realized that something had happened to her: only by looking at the video surveillance images the next day, the 30-year-old understood and confided everything to her mother. Together they then went to the carabinieri to make a complaint.

The man was still in town: he was found and detained by the judicial police on charges of sexual violence, validated by the investigating judge in the last few hours. As far as we know, he would have tried to rape two other Paduan orders with the same technique without succeeding.
