From the first light of dawn, over 800 police, carabinieri and Guardia di Finanza operators are engaged in two vast joint operations with "High Impact" mode in Rome and Naples.

In the capital, the activity, which also involves the local police of Rome, is concentrated in the Tor Bella Monaca district where searches are underway for the search for weapons and drugs in over 80 apartments in via dell'Archeologia.

In Naples, on the other hand, the activity is taking place in the Quartieri Spagnoli area with numerous searches and identifications of suspicious people and vehicles.

The two maxi blitzes come after the one in recent days at the Parco Verde di Caivano, the aim is to restore legality and make the state's presence felt even in the "free" areas.

A total of 500 men are employed in Rome. In addition to the searches aimed at looking for weapons and drugs, the green areas around the buildings were also reclaimed by the Municipality's Garden Service. Firefighters and Acea personnel were also on site.

In Naples, on the other hand, 300 police force operators are on the field in the Montecalvario area, precisely in the Spanish Quarters. After Caivano, the scene of the rape of two little girls, the State also makes its presence felt in the neighborhood where the 17-year-old confessed murderer of the 24-year-old musician Giovanbattista Cutolo lived. Law enforcement agencies are carrying out numerous searches and identifying suspicious people and vehicles.

"No more free zones," said Giorgia Meloni and Matteo Piantedosi after the similar maxi-blitz in recent days in Caivano.
