Continued and aggravated extortion. This is the accusation that a 58-year-old from Cava dei Tirreni, in the province of Salerno, will have to answer for.

The woman was arrested by the police because, since last June, she had repeatedly asked for and obtained money from another woman, blackmailing her: if she had not paid she would have disclosed photos and videos portraying her in intimate attitudes.

Exasperated by the continuous requests for money - for thousands of euros - the extortion victim finally turned to the police, who started the investigation.

At the conclusion of the investigations, on the occasion of yet another delivery of money extorted through blackmail, the military placed handcuffs on the 58-year-old who was placed under house arrest, at the disposal of the judicial authorities.
