No sentence discount: life imprisonment is definitive for Innocent Oseghale , accused of murder and sexual assault for the death of Pamela Mastropietro , the 18-year-old killed in Macerata on 30 January 2018.

Today the ruling from the Court of Cassation arrived, which puts a tombstone on that sad news episode that has been so much discussed.

The Nigerian pusher, now 36 years old, killed Pamela Mastropietro, cut her into pieces and put her in two trolleys . The dismembered body of the girl, who had voluntarily left a rehabilitation community, was found in the countryside. Oseghale was also convicted of vilification, destruction and concealment of a corpse.

" It's what I've expected for six years, it's what I hoped for, but my battle doesn't end here regarding any other responsibilities ," said Alessandra Verni, Pamela Mastropietro's mother, visibly moved. Then he launched an appeal to Oseghale: " I ask him to repent and say who was with him ."
