After seven days, the no Green pass garrison was cleared at the Ethiopia crossing of the port of Genoa, followed by the “main” one in Trieste .

The intervention of the police was received peacefully by the demonstrators: around thirty were present at the first light of dawn. To keep the protest alive even during the night, they had set up a base camp with tents and campers to sleep in, a kitchen and a galley.

The protest had not created any inconvenience to the operation of the port for days and had now become symbolic. Even during the "hottest" period, with garrisons and roadblocks and port gates, including the one in front of the Psa di Prà terminal, the largest in the port of Genoa, the port has always maintained operations.

From the approximately one thousand demonstrators starting, yesterday the number had dropped to one hundred.

TRIESTE - In Trieste, on the other hand, the leader of the protest, the garrison continues in Piazza Unità d'Italia.

Here, too, some demonstrators spent the night in the open, setting up bivouacs. Last night in the square garden chairs, stools, blankets and rugs were laid out, while speeches and chants against the Green pass continued.

The wait is for the weekend's appointments: for tomorrow a procession promoted by the Coordination 15 October has been announced, which is expected to attend as many as twenty thousand participants from half of Italy, as estimated by the prefect of Trieste Valerio Valenti.

On Saturday, a meeting with the Minister of Agricultural Policies Stefano Patuanelli is scheduled in the Friulian capital.
