New earthquake in Impruneta, citizens on the street

Another earthquake, after the shock of 3 May last, occurred in Impruneta (Florence) during the night. At 11.12 pm the earthquake recorded by the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology was of magnitude 3.7, the depth of 8 km. Three minutes later, a second episode of magnitude 2.3.

Citizens, frightened, took to the streets but, the mayor Alessio Calamandrei assured, "at the moment we have no reports of damage to people or things".

So the earthquakes continue in the Florentine Chianti.
