A Tunisian worker who had been banned from approaching stabbed his wife to death and then committed suicide in a public building in Riccò del Golfo, in the La Spezia area. The police are on site, reconstructing what happened, and the medical examiner.

The Carabinieri of La Spezia found the bodies, alerted by the director of the school where the couple's 12-year-old daughter studies. The little girl was waiting in vain for her mother to pick her up, so much so that the manager became worried. The police found the two bodies in the living room, in a pool of blood. On the ground is the kitchen knife that the man used against his wife, slashing her in the abdomen. Then he killed himself by throwing the same knife at his chest several times.

The excessively "Western" education of his children was said to be the basis of the constant quarrels and violence against his wife. She, a few years younger than him, had recently obtained Italian citizenship and had decided to report him on 4 April last For this reason the man had been hit by a provision that prevented him from approaching the house where his wife lived with their two children.
