Investigations continue on the Brescia couple accused of having been at the top of a maxi-evasion system and the discovery of the loot hidden from the tax authorities also continues. Hidden in the truest sense of the word.
After the 8 million euros found underground in the garden , more money was found by carabinieri and Guardia di Finanza in the attic, in the attic and also in the basement of the homes of the two suspects , with the amount of the recovered sums that has now exceeded 15 million euros.
The people under investigation are a total of 77 , while the total amount of the hidden sums would be, according to the investigators, about 93 million euros .
The two spouses - Giuliano Rossini and Silvia Fornari - are in prison, but the investigators are convinced that they can give further indications to recover other black funds still hidden who knows where.
During the interrogation to validate the arrest before the investigating judge, husband and wife had admitted the objections raised by the Brescia prosecutor's office, reserving, however, to investigate the details in an interrogation with the prosecutor Claudia Passalacqua, owner of the investigation.
"When the investigators finish the search for the money, I will read the minutes and my clients will be available to answer every question. They want to collaborate across the board ", assures their lawyer, the lawyer Lorenzo Cinquepalmi .
