Mentana's announcement: "I'm leaving Tg La7, my last anchorman is December 23rd."

«On December 23rd I will say goodbye to my listeners; it will be my last day hosting the La7 news program».
Enrico Mentana thus confirms what he announced on the occasion of his participation in the journalism award in Alessandria, the "Franco Marchiaro Prize".
When asked by ANSA, Mentana specified that his contract with the station will expire at the end of the year. He declined to explain the reasons behind the decision or what he will do, if he continues to work in other roles for Cairo's station.
One of Italy's most famous journalists, Mentana has hosted and directed the La7 news program since 2010.
