THE INVESTIGATION – In Bologna the Prosecutor's Office has opened a case for disaster and manslaughter and is now aiming to shed light on the subcontracting chain.

Yesterday thousands of people took to the streets on the occasion of the national general strike promoted by CGIL and UIL against deaths at work.

The conditions of four of the five technicians injured in the hydroelectric power plant and hospitalized in hospitals in Bologna, Cesena, Pisa and Parma remain stationary: they all have burns suffered in the explosion.

The 25-year-old Nicholas Bernardini was released from Cesena's 'Bufalini' with a 30-day prognosis for burns to his hands.
