The Guardia di Finanza has investigated two entrepreneurs from Brescia in relation to an investigation that led to the seizure of 76 buildings and 25 land in the provinces of Mantua, Brescia, Sassari and Trento, belonging to a company under Romanian law, for a value total of over 12 million euros.

As explained by the Provincial Command of Milan, the investigations by the judicial police, delegated to the Economic-Financial Police Unit, concerned an alleged fraudulent bankruptcy carried out by a Milanese limited liability company operating in the real estate sector, declared bankrupt in February 2020 after accumulating , starting from 2010, "a huge bankruptcy liabilities especially towards credit institutions. In the course of the activities, the implementation of an articulated strategy aimed at the complete emptying of the assets of the company which held, directly and indirectly, a significant real estate assets ".
