Hooked and thrown to the ground by a machine: 32-year-old worker died

Fatal accident inside a packaging factory in Arquata Scrivia, in the province of Alessandria.

The victim is a 32-year-old worker, just turned, Davide Scanio, resident in the small Piedmontese town. According to an initial reconstruction of the incident, the worker was hooked by a rotating machinery near which he was working and thrown to the ground. Rescue was useless: the 32-year-old hit his head violently on the ground and died instantly.

On the spot the police, who have launched the investigations of the case aimed at ascertaining the exact dynamics and responsibilities.
