To the naked eye and to through a special torch , in essence, no papillary contacts were detected on that waste, but at the end of the tests the need to carry out specific tests later was highlighted , which, however, Andrea Sempio's defense has announced that it will continue to oppose.

In fact, already at the hearing in May, before the investigating judge of Pavia Daniela Garlaschelli , the lawyers of the new suspect for the murder of Chiara Poggi in August 2007, had pointed out that the evidentiary incident, ordered by the judge at the request of the prosecutors, provides for genetic and not dactyloscopic analyses . A question also raised yesterday, towards the end of the long day in the laboratories of the Scientific Police in Milan , by the lawyer Angela Taccia, when in the report they wanted to indicate the need for analyses with specific powders to "enhance" and identify - after the negative visual inspections - any fingerprints on the evidence.

The defense line is to oppose these investigations, because if anything the Prosecutor's Office will have to request and obtain another evidentiary fingerprinting incident, complete with relative comparisons of the fingerprints found if any.

Again from what has been learned, yesterday's sampling phase - on the prints contained in the acetate sheets and on the garbage finds - did not concern either the fragment of the bathroom mat, nor a teaspoon , both indicated in the list of finds to be analyzed.
