The Port Authority confirms that the total recovery operations of the vessel will take place tomorrow morning starting at dawn. The vessel sank last August 19: since then it has remained at a depth of about 50 meters. Before raising it completely above sea level, the technicians must reinforce and increase the harnesses.

Three people are being investigated for the shipwreck by the Termini Imerese prosecutor's office : the New Zealand captain James Cutfield, the engineer officer Tim Parker Eaton and the sailor on watch Matthew Griffith. The charge is multiple manslaughter and shipwreck by negligence. After the death of the Dutch diver Rob Cornelis Huijben, which occurred on May 9 during recovery operations, a second investigation was opened involving three people from the Dutch company Smit Salvage, for which Huijben worked. The three are being investigated for manslaughter and violation of workplace safety regulations.
