The man held responsible for the murder of Andrei Danila, the 53-year-old homeless man of Romanian origin who died Sunday evening at the hospital in Rivoli (Turin) after a beating on Sunday evening was tracked down and stopped by the carabinieri.

According to what is learned from investigative sources, he would be a compatriot of the victim.

The suspect will be heard tomorrow in the prosecutor's office by the prosecutor Rossella Salvati, owner of the investigation. The man is accused of manslaughter.

The victim lived in a metal shed near an overpass of the ring road, in Collegno. According to the reconstruction of the carabinieri, on Sunday morning the man was beaten to blood. Feeling ill, in the afternoon he called the carabinieri, giving them the name of the person who had attacked him. Transported to the hospital, he died shortly after his arrival.

He would have been strangled for the autopsy, but the coroner also found internal bleeding caused by kicks and punches.
