Wearing a red sweatshirt and brandishing a large pair of scissors, last night he terrorized the San Lorenzo neighborhood, one of the busiest places in Rome's nightlife.

The fury of a 36-year-old Somali man led to the wounding of three people, including a 35-year-old man who is in very serious conditions.

The episode took place in Via dei Volsci: at the height of an argument, according to some witnesses, which arose over a broken bottle, the man hit a 35-year-old man several times in the head and abdomen. Two of the victim's friends who intervened to stop him were also injured, suffering several cuts to their arms and legs, fortunately not very serious.

As the attacker walked away, the injured and some witnesses called the police and described the man to the officers. The 36-year-old Somali was found a stone's throw from Termini station, in the underpass that connects via Marsala with via Giolitti: he still had blood on his hands, in his backpack was the red sweatshirt he was wearing at the time of the attack and the scissors.

The man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and he was also charged with aggravated assault. He is now in Regina Coeli prison.

The 35-year-old, in serious condition when he was rescued, was losing a lot of blood from his head and is now at the Umberto I Polyclinic. His two friends, slightly injured, ended up one at Umberto I, the other at San Giovanni.
