The first information on the tragedy that occurred two days ago in Ponte San Nicolò, in Padua, where a 35-year-old was found dead following a fire in her home, arrives from the investigators. The flames, according to what has emerged so far, would have arisen from the stake lit by the same victim to set fire to his companion's clothes after a fight. He had gone out slamming the door and she decided to take revenge with a blatant gesture.

The flames, however, got out of hand and enveloped objects in the house. It was the neighbors who gave the alarm by calling 115. When the firefighters began the firefighting operations they found the 35-year-old unconscious, the rescuers' attempts at resuscitation were useless.
