Riding his scooter into a wild boar , a 48-year-old dies.
It happened yesterday around 11pm in Scarperia del Mugello (Florence). According to the first reconstructions, the man – Emanuele Diamanti , driver , married and with children – was driving his moped when he collided with the animal that was crossing the road . The impact threw the victim to the ground.
It was a motorist who gave the alarm to 118 after seeing Diamanti's body and the animal's carcass in the middle of the road . The rescue efforts , which arrived on the spot, were useless: there was nothing more to be done for the man.
