He attacked his wife by hitting her with a hammer and biting her enough to detach part of her ear , causing her to end up hospitalized at the 'Bufalini' in Cesena with a prognosis of thirty days. The protagonist of the story, reported by the local press and which took place in San Mauro Pascoli, in the Cesenate area, is a 40-year-old - who risks charges of attempted murder and aggravated assault - who fled and is wanted by the police.

The man - the facts date back to the evening of 25 April - would have lashed out against his wife during an argument : after having slapped, punched and kicked her, he would have bitten her ear , detaching a part of her pavilion and then the he would have hit him with a hammer in the head. The woman - say the Cesena newspapers - managed to warn the neighbors while her husband fled.

The 118 health workers arrived on site and transported the woman to the 'Bufalini' hospital where the 'Code Red' foreseen in these cases was triggered and which activated the Carabinieri of the Cesenatico company, who have been busy since last Thursday evening, in the search for her violent husband.

The investigations are ongoing .

The woman, who filed a complaint, is still hospitalized and was taken care of by the doctors of the maxillofacial department, who subjected her to surgery for ear injuries caused by her husband. The man is expected to face charges of attempted murder and aggravated assault.
