Girl kills herself in the bathroom at home, investigated for instigation to suicide: "Excluded from the group chat of friends"

A 13-year-old from Monopoli, in the Bari area, took her own life last Sunday, in the bathroom of her home, while she was alone at home.

The prosecutor is investigating for instigation to suicide : the cause of death, according to the investigators, should be sought in the context of the dynamics between his peers and friends.

There are currently no suspects .

From the first analyzes of the data contained in the young woman's phone, no elements of bullying or social challenges emerged but it was discovered that the 13-year-old in the days preceding her suicide would have been excluded from some WhatsApp groups in which her friends chatted.

The funeral of the young woman will be held today in Monopoli while the mayor has already announced the city's mourning .
