"I realized that Barbara's goal was to get me out, one way or another."

This is Gian Andrea Toffano, ex-husband of Barbara Pasetti, the 40-year-old physiotherapist from Calignano, a hamlet of Cura Carpignano (Pavia), who ended up in prison as part of the investigation into the murder of Luigi Criscuolo , 60, known to everyone in Pavia like Gigi Bici.

"I am living a nightmare, I want to go back to my life - Toffano told 'La vita live' -. Twice Barbara tried to poison me with massive doses of sleeping pills poured into coffee".

According to what he says, the woman tried to kill him last spring: "The first time Barbara - said Toffano - came to the dealership where I worked and brought me coffee in a paper cup. Half an hour after drinking it, I am fainted: if I had gotten behind the wheel of the car I don't know what happened to me. I went to the hospital and in the report I read that I had been given a heavy dose of sleeping pills. I asked Barbara for a clarification in a neutral place: there we were seen in a bar, and even then after drinking coffee I felt sick. At that point I realized that she was the one who tried to poison me. In light of what happened next, I realized that I seriously risked losing our skin ".

He did not report the matter, this is his version, because he was afraid of "definitely losing the child", left with Barbara after their separation. In both cases, Toffano went to the hospital to be treated and undergo blood chemistry tests. Reports that he then brought to the police headquarters on 7 February, when he was heard as a "person informed on the facts". From the investigations it seems that Barbara Pasetti had first asked Gigi Bici and then other friends of Criscuolo to give her ex-husband a "fix" because she was interested in the heritage that Toffano had inherited from her mother, who died on December 4, 2020: four apartments and four garage in Milan, Brescia, Lecco and Finale Ligure (Savona).

Meanwhile, the outcome of the appraisals ordered by the Pavia Public Prosecutor's Office to shed light on the murder of Criscuolo is always awaited. From the autopsy (which established that Gigi Bici would have been killed on November 8, the day he disappeared, with a small-caliber pistol shot to the right temple), signs of dragging of the victim's corpse, found in the afternoon, would have emerged. on Monday 20 December in a field of Calignano, near the villa of Barbara Pasetti.
