Mystery about the tragedy, the hypothesis of a pirated car
Found dying on the street, not far from home, an 18-month-old boy from Portogruaro (Venice) died in hospital.
The little boy had a hematoma on his head, due to serious trauma, perhaps due to an accident.
The parents were unable to give convincing explanations and the police are investigating the case.
One hypothesis is that the child walked away without being seen until he reached the road and here he may have been hit by a car, which then fled. But other leads cannot be ruled out, including that of a domestic accident.
It was the mother who raised the alarm, and her cries brought the relatives running and loaded the little boy into the car to take him to the hospital.
The first medical-legal checks would indicate a crushing injury to the head.
However, it cannot be ruled out that he was mistreated.
