Found dead in the house: hands and feet tied, pants down

Tied to a table, with his pants down and several wounds on his face from a stabbing weapon. Thus a 75-year-old man was found this morning in his villa in Castrì (Lecce).

Donato Montinaro, this is the victim's name, had hands and feet immobilized with bands and packing tape and was wearing a diaper (apparently not used out of necessity). Investigators investigate for murder . The elder reportedly had a criminal record for sexual assault, theft and personal injury.

The caretaker who looked after the man's daughter, a disabled woman, called the police. Entering the house - which apparently has no signs of forced entry - she discovered the body of Montinaro, a former retired carpenter well known in the town.
