Tragic fire in an apartment in the Poggi Sant'Anna district of Trieste.
A 50-year-old woman died in the fire, while her 33-year-old son was injured and was rushed to hospital. His condition would not be serious.
On the spot, in addition to the rescuers, also the State Police and the firefighters.
From an initial reconstruction, the fire - which broke out for reasons not yet identified - developed on the fifth floor of an 11-storey building in via Di Vittorio.
