Tragedy in the Ferrarini family, a historic food production company in Reggio Emilia. Lia Ferrarini, the youngest of the siblings, died in an agricultural accident on the Botteghe di Albinea estate in Reggio Emilia.

According to initial reconstructions, the 56-year-old was working on a small agricultural machine used to care for stable animals, when she suddenly fell on a concrete slab and hit her head. A fall that caused her a massive head trauma and that proved immediately fatal.

Rescue workers arrived on the scene, but there was nothing more that could be done for her.

The Carabinieri and the men of the Occupational Medicine are now carrying out investigations to clarify the dynamics of the tragedy and understand what may have happened .
