Ester Palmieri killed by her ex, wanted mediation on child custody
Two days before the femicide, Moser had collected the lawyer's registered letter from the post office
Ester Palmieri, 37, was killed by her ex-partner Igor Moser, 45, in her home in Valfloriana, Trentino, after he had received a registered letter from the woman's lawyer for mediation on the custody of her three children.
The man had received the registered letter in recent days and went to collect it at the post office only later, at the invitation of Ester herself.
A telephone contact with the lawyer Marta Luchini followed.
And two days later the woodsman went to Ester Palmieri's house and killed her with his hunting knife, before returning to his home where he took his own life by hanging himself.
That letter definitively marked the end of the relationship, something Moser never accepted. An autopsy was carried out on the woman's body yesterday and authorization from the Prosecutor's Office is awaited for the funeral. The funeral of Igor Moser has been set for Monday.
