Mystery surrounding the discovery of a woman's body in a holiday facility in Capaccio Paestum, in the province of Salerno.

The advanced state of decomposition of the body, for the moment, has not even allowed the identity of the victim to be officially ascertained. The carabinieri found inside the structure the document of a 57-year-old Neapolitan woman who - according to what has been learned from investigative sources - could correspond to the victim.

An autopsy was carried out at the Battipaglia hospital morgue (Salerno) which will serve to clarify whether the death was caused by violent causes or whether it occurred naturally. From an initial external examination of the body, no tangible signs of violence emerged but, considering the advanced state of decomposition of the body, we will have to wait for the outcome of the histological findings to be able to exclude the possibility of murder.

For the moment the body remains seized, awaiting the provisions of the judicial authorities.

The discovery was made on Friday morning by one of the owners of the holiday home who hadn't been there for a long time: the structure only operates in the summer. The body was found in the bedroom while in the kitchen elements were found that would suggest a meal consumed by at least two people.
